We are currently looking for potential new team members in the following areas:
Pet Care Technician
Pet Care Technicians are directly responsible for providing care for
the pets staying at Rover Oaks. The technician’s duties include:
walking pets to outside exercise areas, engaging pets in play
activities, providing pets with a
continuous supply of fresh water, cleaning and sanitizing pet
enclosures and exercise yards, and recording accurate information on
the activities and behavior of each pet. Candidates should be physically able to secure and handle large dogs. There are two shifts for Pet
Care Technicians. Our first shift is from 6:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
and the second shift is from 2:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m; and all Pet Care Technicians work weekends and holidays. To learn

Pet Care Supervisor
Pet Care Supervisors are responsible the daily operations of our
lodging facility. They supervise the activities of the Pet Care
Technicians (above), prepare meals for the pets, administer
medications, inspect arriving and departing pets, communicate with
clients, and ensure the health and safety of the dogs and cats who stay
with us each day. Candidates for this position should have a minimum
of 2 years' experience as a veterinary technician and experience
supervising the work of other employees. In addition, qualified
candidates must be physically able to secure and handle large dogs.
They should have experience assessing pet health issues and behavioral
issues. Candidates should be able to provide pet first aid, understand
and administer pet medications, and possess good customer relations

Dog Daycare Specialist
Our Dog Daycare Specialists are responsible for supervising and managing a
large number of dogs who play together off-leash at Rover Oaks. Each
day the daycare staff accepts arriving dogs, continually observes and
monitors their behavior around the other participating dogs, provides
fresh water continually, engages the pets in play, return the happy pets
to their owners, and clean/maintain the Dog Daycare facility. This
position involves weekends and holidays. Candidates for the position
should have a minimum of 2-3 years' experience in the industry (e.g.,
boarding or dog daycare facility, veterinary clinic, or animal
shelter), and experience with social play groups is preferred.
Candidates should be physically able to secure and handle large dogs,
should possess good customer relations experience, and exhibit a
positive, outgoing personality. To learn more

Pet Groomer & Stylist
Each Pet Groomer & Stylist at Rover Oaks is responsible for
providing pet quality and breed standard cuts; providing professional
bathing and spa services; discussing and documenting clients' grooming
requests and preferences; and promoting grooming services to current
and potential clients. Candidates for the position should have a
minimum of 2 years' experience as a professional groomer and pet
stylist, excellent knowledge of individual breed standards, excellent
scissoring techniques, and physically able to handle and secure large
and small dogs. In addition, successful candidates should have strong

Grooming Assistant / Bather
The Grooming Assistant is responsible for providing professional
quality bathing and drying; cleaning pets' ears and clipping or
grinding their nails; maintaining a clean, safe and sanitary
environment for the pets, maintaining the grooming equipment;
and providing assistance to the Professional Pet Groomers &
Stylists. Candidates for the position should have a minimum of 1 year
of experience with pet bathing and grooming services; should be able to
recognize and understand specific dog breeds; must be
physically able to handle and secure large dogs; and must be dependable

Customer Service Specialist
The Customer Service staff (a.k.a. front desk staff) is responsible
for taking good care of our clients and coordinating the services they
request for their pet companions. Principal duties of our Customer
Service staff include: answering incoming phone calls; assisting
clients with reservations; helping clients choose specific service
options for their pets; entering client and pet data in the computer
system; and providing tours of the facility. Candidates for the
position should have previous customer service or retail sales
experience, excellent communication skills, experience with multi-line
phone systems, an enthusiastic and outgoing personality, and strong
computer/data entry skills. Candidates must be a high school graduate,
